An Evening of Opera at Treberfydd House

Spend an evening at Treberfydd listening to world-class opera as Wild Arts Opera (★★★★ The Guardian, ★★★★★ Opera Now) puts on an outdoor performance of their acclaimed show, ‘An Evening of Opera’.

Semi-staged by director Guido Martin-Brandis and woven into a new narrative full of dramatic intrigue, jealousy, comedy, idealism and true love, follow the characters as they travel through 75 minutes of music, from arias and scenes by Handel, Mozart, Rossini and Britten to the songs of Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim. Performed by four exceptional singers and a world-class string quintet, this promises to be a sparkling and mischievous summer treat.

Arrive from 5pm to picnic in the beautiful gardens at Treberfydd, and the Walled Garden Treberfydd next door - bring food, drinks, rugs, folding chairs, cushions and your friends (refreshments also available to purchase).

The performance starts at 7pm outside in the historic stable yard (or in our marquee, if wet), with a 30-minute pudding interval. The performance will end at approximately 8.45pm.

General admission: £30
