Hafod Y Llyn

Hafod y Llyn is located in the 19th-century stable yard at Treberfydd House. Formerly the stables, it is now a peaceful, stylish and newly redecorated two-bedroom cottage with uninterrupted views across parkland, where sheep graze or wildflowers grow, depending on the season. Located in an International Dark Sky reserve, and a short walk from Llangorse lake, this is a special setting and an ideal base from which to explore the Bannau Brycheiniog national park and the Black Mountains.

Parking is available in the stable yard, by the cottage. It is advisable, although not essential, to have a car. The nearest station is Abergavenny, about a 25-minute drive (with connections to London Paddington).

Brecon, the nearest town with supermarkets, is about a 12-minute drive; the nearest village shop, in Llangorse, is a six-minute drive.

There are wonderful walks - hilly and flat - from the front door.

Minimum three-night booking.
