Visiting Treberfydd

Treberfydd House and its gardens are open to the public twice a year, for two weeks at a time, usually in April and again in July, when the house and gardens are also open for one day as part of the National Garden Scheme.

The house and gardens will next be open from Tuesday 5 April until Monday 18 April 2022 (Easter Monday) inclusive, 2pm to 6pm daily, no booking required.

Tours start at 2pm and 4pm daily. Teas will be available. Picnics and dogs on leads are welcome. Donations to the Brecon, Hay and Talgarth Sanctuary for Refugees.

After that, the house and gardens will be open from Tuesday 28 June until Monday 11 July 2022 (inclusive).

We will be open on Sunday 3 July 2022 as part of the National Gardens Scheme.

We also welcome visits by private groups (10 or more) by private appointment at any time of the year. Your visit will include a tour of the house, exclusive access to the gardens as well as tea and homemade cakes in the conservatory. Our charge is £11 per person. There is parking for a coach and/or private cars. Private tours must be booked at least 4 weeks in advance. Please use the contact details below for more information.

Although a family home, Treberfydd House is available for weddings or private events, offering exclusive use of the house, gardens and grounds. We offer B&B accommodation in the house for groups of up to 10, and have two self-catering properties; the Barn (sleeps eight) and the Saddlery (sleeps six).
