Walled Garden Treberfydd

As of late 2013, the nursery in the Treberfydd's 18th walled garden came under new management and has a new name: Walled Garden Treberfydd. The new leaseholder, Alison Sparshatt, is focusing her business on hardy plants grown in Wales that are structural, unusual, edible, herbal or fragrant. The nursery now has a range of Welsh varieties of apple, pear, plum and damson trees, as well as quince, mulberry, greengage, walnut, crab apple and medlar.

Alison has also transformed the sales area into a welcoming shop with herbal creams, oils and gardening tools for sale. Do stop by to have a look. The nursery has its own entrance on the lane running from Bwlch to Pennorth, just up from the entrance to Treberfydd House.

Walled Garden Treberfydd is open daily from 10am to 4pm. Phone: 01874-730-169.
