The Barn at Treberfydd & Saddlery Cottage
If you are looking for an idyllic rural getaway, The Barn at Treberfydd and Saddlery Cottage are the perfect self-catering venues. The Barn, which sleeps 8, and the Saddlery Cottage, which sleeps 6, offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the Brecon Beacons. Offering beautiful views of the Black Mountains and Llangorse Lake, the properties are ideal locations for cyclists, climbers, canoeists, garden lovers and walkers.
The Barn is located in its own private courtyard and is just a few hundred yards from Treberfydd House. Access to Treberfydd's beautiful gardens and grounds for walks or picnics can be easily arranged. The Saddlery cottage is located within the grounds. The Barn is heated by a geothermal ground source heat pump, and the Saddlery by a biomass boiler, so both offer eco-friendly warmth in all seasons - perfect for autumn and winter bookings.
'The Saddlery is a truly special place. The living/dining room and all the bedrooms have views out across beautiful open fields towards mountains. It's such a treat to sit and enjoy the view! The cottage, which is very tastefully renovated, is situated in the grounds of a larger house, where the hosts, David and Carla, live. There are delightful formal gardens as well as several acres of farmland, all of which guests are free to explore. A short walk takes you to a serene spot to admire the many birds on Llangorse lake. David and Carla provide excellent suggestions on interesting things to do, along with making guests feel very welcome' - John, February 2018
'We've just had a wonderful few days staying at the Barn. It really is as described and the perfect place for exploring the Brecon Beacons' - Mark, February 2017
