Treberfydd has been used as the location for a number of films and television dramas over the past decades. These include two episodes of the BBC series called Kilvert's Diary. Kilvert was a 19th century curate of a nearby parish.

 

In the spring of 2007, BBC Wales filmed two episodes of Dr Who at the house. These episodes, "The Family of Blood" and "Human Nature," were set in 1913 and used the house as a boys' school. This year, the house was featured in Y Ty Cymreig (The Welsh House) on S4C, the Welsh Channel 4.
